Given it is designed to support the Northern Gateway businesses and if you use them, you will get your parking validated for free, I see nothing wrong with this. Why should football fans expect to use it? It is the same policy that deters railway users from parking in the Bricklayers Arms or Wickes car parks.
The valid arguments are around the expense of the stadium car park, the opening hours of the ParkNRide, frequency of public transport etc. With the football club making an annual loss, and no buyer on the horizon, I think we have far greater concerns. |  | | |

It'll be interesting to see how this might affect their revenue on matchdays, and indeed our attendance if the less mobile can't get into the club car park. |  |

Perhaps it will ease the aftermath congestion getting onto the A12.
