This just about sums up the English FA - money money money

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22597023

I appreciate the Germans want to own Europe but surely we don't have to follow them

A disgraceful decision by the FA - they have just lost 3 sales from my family

The real shocker is the £60 price tag.

England shirts previously about £35-40 at Sports Soccer, now we seem to be being brought into line with European prices.

Will wait for the Summer sales!

Mine will be emblazoned with Eastmond on the back!

Sod the price, that kit is just awful. I wouldn't wear it if they were giving it away (well I might, but you get my point).

Didn't notice the £60 price tag as was in state of shock at how bad the kit was.

£60 - rip off. Stick to my new CUFC shirt for holiday this year

S, I had a look and my first impulse was that indeed this became the Germany kit junior, but on deeper reflection, it's not a copy at all.

Perhaps as minimal as Germany, but in fairness, England --and I looked closely at the history of the England kit so I was sure I wouldn't be talking out of my arse right now-- that kit was essentially the brainchild for that style.. Furthermore, look at 1872-1939.. Mainly white with black trim.

I feel what you are missing is that extra panache, like the cross of St George in the mid 2000's which I reeeally love

There are two colours in the Cross of St George, red & white.

The only time England have won anything the kit was red & white

Why does any England kit contain anything other than red & white?

I was thinking along the red colour lines as well, the lack of emphasis on red a white sums it up.

The new England kit may be awful but it's still better than Hodgson's choice for captain...Ashley Cole?!

"A player who has vilified the Football Association, shot a work experience boy, sworn at police and shown such disrespect to a referee that a scandalised FA brought in its Respect campaign" As well as this he has refused to speak publicly before or after the game. Certainly leadership material.

Is Ashley Cole what the FA consider a role model?
