As usual the FA Cup had its fair share of shock results, but despite that two members managed to get three spot-ons. It is a very well done to gsy163 and to basher2010 who had the rounds best score, with a brilliant 12 points, and the overall Group stage highest total.

Going 1-1 all 30 games proved to be very fruitful for Daniel, and another two spot-ons confirmed his superiority in this group. There was a three-way tie after Round 2 for the other qualifying place, but two spot-ons, the wins for Accrington and Everton, for RSCOSWORTH guaranteed him a quarter-final place

What an absolute thriller this group turned out to be, with only three points separating the top seven. After Round 2 gsy163 was lying in seventh place, five points from a top two finish. It was going to need a big score to give him any chance of reaching the quarter-finals. Well he produced that big score with his excellent 11 points containing three spot-ons, the 1-0 wins for Accrington and Portsmouth with the Newcastle 1-1. It was enough to give him an unlikely looking top spot. Joining him in the quarter-finals is eagledares, who held onto his second spot, but by only by the first to post rule. This is the second week running the tie-breaker rules has done him a favour, after qualifying for the Champions League on the most 3 pointer rule last week. A great effort from sevebalo to just fall just short after having the 1-0 wins for Accrington and Bristol City spot-on.
The top two after Round 2 confirmed their superiority with basher2010 taking over at the top with his brilliant 12 points that had the Shrewsbury and Newcastle draws with the Everton 2-1 spot-on. Having the Accrington 1-0 spot-on made sure of ghughes11 participation in the quarter-finals. With a 9 point gap back to the third these are very worthy qualifiers from this group.
Very much a dearth of 3 pointers in this group. It was the 10 points in Round 2 that noah4x4 got, when he had two of the total five 3 pointers from this group, that made all the difference, and he takes top spot. The other qualifier is oxfcolu, who has been in the top two throughout. The two lowest scoring qualifiers came from this group, so a lot more will be required to progress further.
