Central defence or holding midfielder? I think at times, successive managers were never sure on his best position. Nor perhaps Matt.

He's been judged on being JB not what happened. That's wrong.
My issue and concern with JB is, can he or will he learn? Twice seen red for retialiation. Putting aside for one moment the ban, should Rangers entertain a player who simply does not learn? That's the biggest issue for me! |

Pedantic I know but personally, Zamora MOM. He set the tone for that team performance, work rate and effort which was outstanding. Sorry Clive, you probably don't want to read these things after your pre match review!
I've never seen a lone front man play that role so efficently and effectively before. Incredible and he never let their defence settle.
Barton was back to his quiet best on the pitch IMO. He's put in similar shifts this season. |

Fearless ; I think it was the Bard. He 'fouled' Shearer. When I say foul, I mean in a Clint Hill on Sturridge way. I do recall Shearer, mid 90's going down like a sack of spuds (he did that a lot!) conning the ref to win a pen.

Good read that over lunch.
Massive club Everton. From afar, been baffled why foreign investors haven't snapped them up (our's included). When we played them in the 80's and 90's, I can always recall Everton fans filling the away end. For a period of time, they were bigger than Liverpool in my book. Always lack songs but Goodison was and still is, a favourite away ground. Last visit was 95.
Anyway, I reckon Moyes is still there because he's waiting for the United job. Sadly, that'll probably go to Mourinho but I think David Moyes would do a better job and is proven, like Fergie, at bringing youngsters through the ranks ie same format.
They won't start slow Saturday, guaranteed! |

It does get better and better that's for sure. I hope more people buy it. I've had 3 mates who are 40 this year and arranged a surprise party for them. QPR, Makem and fake fan. Brought them each a copy! LOL!
