| Forum Thread | QPR Cafe, Bloemfontein Road. at 10:32 7 Apr 2024
It used to be packed with R's fans before games when Ray & Maggie ran it but the owners since they sold up ruined the place with bad food, poor service and ever increasing prices. Good news, there is another new owner as of 2 weeks ago who told Ray was his uncle and he wants to get the cafe back to how it was when Ray owned it. I popped in yesterday with Dave to get a cup of tea and we stayed for some food in the end. There is a good and varied menu now, prices are very reasonable and the service was faultless, you even get a Biscuit with your tea or coffee. I am posting this to let former regulars know that it is now worth returning and has been decorated with QPR paraphernalia again. |

Our search for a prolific striker is over; Coventry defender Liam Kitching with a well struck drive past the keeper followed up with a beauty of a glancing header. Both in his own net but it was the quality of finish that caught the eye. |

One of the best performances from him since he broke into the first team today? He was everywhere both in attack and defence his passing was back to its best and the little flicks and touches found their targets 90% of the time. Marti and Calm seem to have really got to grips with what they want him to do and he seems to have taken it on board and delivered. I also noticed today that not only the attacking players are all doing their defensive duties but towards the end of the game Smyth moved in to a central area and Dykes immediately moved into his position to cover him . A great team effort and the subs all played their part too.great coaching and decision making from the touchline all made today a day to be their and a just reward for yet another large and noisy crowd. Having just watched it I can only deduce it was written, produced and directed by Chelsea, Fulham and Bus stop fans. If I didn't know different I would guess he never played for us and only spent a few months as manager before Barca lured him away. |

There is an overturned vehicle on the M40 between J9 Biscester & J8a Southbound. M40 closed in both directions and not expected to open until 13:45. I appreciate this may affect Bristol supporters than ours but heads up to anyone who uses this stretch to get to W12. |

I see the back to school sales promo doesn't include a QPR themed hard hat for the kids. |

Razi for Ireland looks a prospect today. Alfie Tuck not getting involved much so far. (1-0 pen.) |
| Forum Thread | QPR song under threat. at 08:13 1 Apr 2023
One of the problems the club has with H&F council is our Allez, Allez Allez O song as "it promotes white supremacy to the casual listener and is non inclusive". FFS! wait until they find out the names of the streets and roads around the estate. |

We appear to have music covered off nicely, football definitely! help and advice threads, check, so next up... is anyone else a videogamer? I started off with an Atari Pong console, made my way through an Itellivision console to a BBC B which I still own and over the years I have had a Sega Saturn, PS1, 2 & 3 Nintendo Wii and various X Boxes up to my present Series S and during lockdown I treated my self to a full on gaming PC with Raccat Keyboard and Razer mouse. In the last 25 years or so I have focussed mainly on RPG's, Openworld and sandbox games as I am absolutely crap at 1st & 3rd person shoot 'em ups. If this thread gathers pace we can have discussions on favourite games, kit, tips & hints if needed. Go! *Edit. I don't know how I forgot this; I spent over 2 years before Lockdown playing No Man's Sky with a few run throughs of The Outer Worlds chucked in. [Post edited 6 Mar 2023 11:10]

IF, and it's a big if. the club were forced away from H&F to build a stadium which could provide income 360+ days a years to generate the revenue to make us competitive as a team again would you be for or against it. Yes or No will suffice, there's no need for comments like "knowing QPR they'd fück it up" etc. Just Yes or No. |
