14 on target 7 off target, thats the difference, create and shoot, and guess what, you eventually score, we looked far far more dangerous going forward than we have in ages.
Great to have a clean sheet too by the way, very impressed with the keeper today, and Longy was class, lets try get him for the rest of the season, he's the dominant defender we've been lacking.

Having read a few posts on here now singing the praises of Barry Murphy, i'm baffled. To say he put in a shift? Wow. For the entire match i didn't see him make a single tackle, and only saw him attempt two tackles the whole game.
He was keeping away from areas were he may have been called upon to get stuck in, basically i saw a very lazy performance (again) by him.
Strange how we can see the same game so differently at times.
Anyway, the main thing is the three points, so sorry to bring a bit of negativity back with this post.

The way they handled that drunk fella was appalling, they dropped him once, i thought they were going to do more harm than good, how he didn't bang his head i don't know. I wouldn't mind but there was about ten of them, how do ten people manage to drop someone? |

Says Ball was their first target, didnt pull it off, tried a few different avenues and fortunately went back to Peterborough and pulled it off. Says his work rate will benefit the side. (probably start on Saturday)
Ahmad Benali is inbetween current systems they have at city, so a loan out was ideal, he is a "magic" footballer, but he also stressed that what he has done has been at youth level. Very good getting into the box. (impact sub?) |

According to the back page of tomorrows ob, Steve Eyre's father, the famous Fred Eyre has taken ill and is in Hope Hospital, the article says "Eyre's first game will be overshadowed by his fathers stay in hospital".
