Swansea travel to Hartlepool for the next game - Planet Swans previews the match

Despite most believing we need less than that - and that will probably prove to be so - the target should be the mathematics of it all which at the moment says that 12 more points will see us promoted.  And if we can get one of those wins on the board tomorrow then it will stand us in good stead with Bournemouth at home next weekend.

Doncaster have already secured their points for the weekend with a Friday victory over Nottingham Forest that has not made the Swans task any easier but with a seven point advantage over the Yorkshire side there is still nothing to suggest that they will be caught by Rovers.

Jason Scotland goes into the game looking to score for an incredible eighth successive away game - a run that stretched back to the victory at Luton back in January - and also looking to grab more goals as he looks to extend his lead at the top of the League One scoring charts.  He is likely to be partnered up front by Darryl Duffy, whose introduction made such an impact on Monday night whilst Darren Pratley is likely to retain his starting place but only because Ferrie Bodde is out injured.

The big question though is whether new signing Ashley Williams will get a start and my gut feel on that is that he will have to make do with a place on the bench leaving the Swans to line up as follows

Dorus

Rangel     Tate     Lawrence     Painter

Butler     Britton     Pratley     Robinson

Scotland     Duffy

Hartlepool defender Sam Collins (bruised ribs) and striker Richie Barker (hamstring) are major doubts.

James Brown and Michael Nelson came off the bench to replace Barker and Collins and the duo would appear favourites to start if needed.

And so onto the much fabled Planet Swans predictions.   We rarely get anything right these days so don't take much notice of it but I can see the two sides fighting out a draw, sharing four goals between them.  Scotland and Robinson will be on target for the Swans.

Paddy Power says: The Swans, despite Hartlepool's decent home record, are installed as favourites for the game at 6-5 whilst a home victory is available to back at 9-5.  With the draw there for the taking at 9-4 then it seems a decent enough shout and I am sure the Swans would take a point if it was on offer at this point in time.  For those that like to back the correct score how does a 2-0 Swansea victory at 9-1 grab you as value?  You can view the full range of markets available on the game by clicking here

Around 350 Jacks will make the trip North for the game tomorrow - here's hoping they all come home happy......Who are we?
