Saints have to win the South Coast Derby at Home Park.

Lets not beat about the bush here, Saints have thrown away too many points this season, so much so that anything less than a win will see them fall farther behind the promotion pack and leave them with a mountain to climb to get anywhere near it.

Argyle sit two points above Saints in the Championship table and like us they have had a mixture of results to date, thus giving hope to the more optimistic of Saints supporters that we can get all three points on Saturday.

It looks likely to be a changed side on Saturday, with Idiakez struggling for fitness it seems likely that Burley may move Wright into a central midfield role and bring back Ostlund, its a hard choice, on one hand Wright is slow and likely to get shredded by a fast winger, but on the other hand Ostlund is returning after a long lay off and isnt match fit and got murdered himself in the same fixture last season, so what does Burley do.

Simiarly a combination of Euell and Wright in the centre of the midfield would fill most Saints supporters with dread.

Another poser is at left back, does Burley keep faith with Vignal who looks to have turned a corner in the past two games or does he bring in Stephen O'Halloran, signed this week on loan from Aston Villa, the irishman is only on loan for a month and clearly has been brought in to get experience, but is it right to drop Vignal now, especially for a player whose only first team experience has been on loan at Wycombe and that itself was 12 months ago.

Hopefully up front it will be a little more clear, even for Burley, Rasiak is scoring goals and as we all know when Rasiak scores its usually a long burst and in truth although BWP should really be on the bench, a position more suited to him, he has earned the right to start and does offer pace, a rasiak/John combination up front would not offer an outlet or the chance to go on the break.

A vital weekend for Burley, he has to get a winning streak together and keep it going , he no longer has the excuse of a warring boardroom, yes he has little money, but this is still a strong squad compared to most teams in this division, so now its down to managerial motivation and tactical nous, by the end of January Saints fans will either be acclaiming Burley for the greatest comeback since Lazarus or calling for his head, or maybe they will just be waving goodbye as he heads off to Scotland.
