Reading manager Steve Coppell was in no real mood to be complimentary after being outclassed at the Liberty

Coppell rold Reading's official site "We were beaten, It doesn't matter whether I think it was a fair result or not...we were beaten.

"It's disappointing for all of us, but it's a hard place to come.

"They play really good football and, on their day, very effective football. We have to accept that and start getting ourselves ready for the next game.

"The timing of the first goal was obviously critical," Coppell continued as he spoke of Swansea's 45th minute opener.

"If we'd gone in at 0-0, then it would have given us that little bit more resolve.

"But they scored right on the stroke of half time and it gave them an up going into the second half.

"We were frustrated by losing a player. If the referee had let the play continue I don't think he would have made the decision he did.

"There was a little bit of pressure on the official to produce a card, which I don't think anyone likes to see.

"So we'll just leave this ground and get ready for the next one, which is obviously against Wolves.

"This division is all about 46 games right across the country during ten months of football.

"Sometimes it's how you react to bad results that determine where you end up. And we've got to be determined to bounce back."
