Chris Morgan has asked the Sheffield United fans to get behind them as they go for victory today

Swansea City are in action at Sheffield United in a game that both sides must win to keep alive their respective hopes for next weekend.

Victory for Sheffield United will keep them hot on the heels of Birmingham whilst an away victory for the Swans could see them retain their play off hopes.  Ironically both sides are in the position that even if they win their hopes could still die this afternoon should other results go against them.

And with the Swans ready to be backed by their ever noisy following that will again exceed four figures, Blades captain Morgan is keen that the home fans respond in kind "The lads are still positive and the confidence is there going into a massive game on Saturday. It will be a great game to play in and there will be a big crowd at the Lane watching two teams going for it" he told their official website

"The fans always turn out in numbers and back us even when things don't quite go right. I think the fans still believe automatic promotion is up for grabs and going into the last home game of the season we are still in with a chance.

"All we can do is get three points and then Birmingham will know before they kick-off that we are breathing right down their necks.

"Once we have finished we will head off home as usual and everybody will keep a check on the Birmingham score however they want. I will probably take the dog for a wander as I am not a great football watcher."
