Alan Tate has called on the supporters to be behind the team for the last vital three games

Swansea City enter their last three game spell of the season tomorrow against Barnsley with games against Sheffield United and Doncaster after that set to decide their fate beyond the first weekend in May.

Vice-captain Tate is set to return to the starting line up against the Tykes due to the injury to Angel Rangel and he told the official site "The fans have done it in the past and now we need them to do it again

"My memories of our fans the day we beat Hull at the Vetch Field back in 2003 are still fresh in my mind.

"I've never seen support like that before. They were amazing and played a major part in saving us from dropping out of the Football League.

"The atmosphere was unbelievable and if we can come close to replicating that until the end of the season, it will give the boys a massive boost on the pitch.

"The situation we are in now is just as important as the Hull game, even though it's for totally different reasons.

"It could earn us the biggest prize the club has ever known. Yes the club played in the old First Division in the early 1980s, but the Premier League these days is at a totally different level.

"Not only are there huge financial rewards there, but the exposure the city will receive by being in the Premier League will be unbelievable.

"It will have a positive effect for everyone in the community, both individually and commercially.''
