Charlton Athletic, Ipswich Town, and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all being linked with a possible move for George Moncur.

While there is nothing to substantiate the rumours at this time, it is understandable why Charlton and Ipswich are being linked. Charlton have been scouting the U’s this season while Callum Harriot was on loan with us and will also have been following our progress in advance of this weekend FA Cup game, and Ipswich have a tendency to sign our top players in the January transfer window, with Anthony Wordsworth and Freddie Sears moving up the A12 in recent years.

The 22-year-old is under contract until the end of next season.
