Just Tell Sunderland No!

Another day and it seems another Swansea player is linked with a move away from the club that just shows how quickly things can turn in football with the Swans seemingly seen as a club who can let anybody go.

We know that we let Jonjo Shelvey leave this week but he was a bad egg that we did not need at this point in time and his departure was best for the club in the long run. Similarly the reports that suggest Gomis is on his way are the right thing for the club but I think it is fair to say that we all know that the departure now of Andre Ayew would not be the right thing.

Sky Sports reported the other day that Sunderland would be interested in making a move for the player who scored against them at the Liberty on Wednesday.

Those reports have now reached the Sunday papers with the Sun reporting "Sunderland are making a new £9m offer for Swansea star Andre Ayew - with Sam Allardyce convinced that he can get his man.

"The Black Cats are prepared to increase their opening bid and get close to Swansea's valuation to seal a quick but controversial deal."

The paper goes onto suggest that Ayew is unsettled following the departure of Garry Monk from the club and they state that "they are unsure whether we want to keep or sell" which is a priceless line and a long winded way of saying "we have no clue"

This one is simple for me, we keep hold of Ayew as we need him at this point in time. No brainer. End of story.
