Fulham Allocation Almost Sold Out
Wednesday, 20th Dec 2017 18:36

Saints took an extra allocation for the game at Fulham, but with those extra tickets now flown quickly out of the ticket office door, there are only a small number available.

Saints fans who want to go to Fulham need to be quick, the club took an exta block of tickets on Tuesday but all but a handful of these went in just over 24 hours meaning that there are now only a hundred or so tickets remaining out of an allocation of over 4,000 and most of these are in the front few rows which have been recently released.

Whether Saints are able to get any more from Fulham is unclear, the Putney End at Craven Cottage sees away fans share with a neutral section and it will be down to whether Fulham have sold any tickets in this area.

So it could be that Saints could get more tickets or alternatively Saints fans could buy tickets directly from Fulham in this area.

We got ours this morning though there were still tickets available in every block at that time?

It appears that Fulham as well as giving us another block also released seats in the first three rows of te other blocks that had not previously been on sale.

I have also noticed that Fulham have stopped selling tickets in the other two blocks in the away end previously sold to neutrals, possibly to stop Saints supporters buying them, or possibly to give us more tickets

That explains that my seats are row b.
Let's hope the team and manager take it as seriously as us mainly drunk fans that day it could turn out to be quite an atmosphere

I suppose some "non-British " managers see a Cup fixture as a chance to rest players and try out some "younger talents". Unfortunately, Pochettino and Puel both fell into this trap, and threw away chances to progress in Cup games that we might have won.

Fans know that for clubs who are unlikely to win titles, or get into Euro competitions, a good Cup run can be a nice consolation by the end of the season.

I do hope we field a strong side v.Fulham but still see a chance for the likes of Hesketh, McQueen and Stephens to get into the action, too. Man.Utd suffered the indignity of losing to Bristol City, but for Saints to go out at the first hurdle would add insult to injury in a season that has already left much to be desired.
