Colchester United have been drawn away to Championship side Oxford United in the First Round of the Carabao Cup. The fixture will be played week commencing 11 August.

It'll be the first time we've visited the Kassam Stadium - which opened in 2001 - and possibly the last, as Oxford are due to vacate it in the near future.

Earlier today the draw for the Vertu Trophy group stage also took place and the U's will face Fulham under-21s alongside Gillingham and Wycombe Wanderers in Southern Section group G.
