 Thursday, 15th Jan 2009 12:26 Carlisle United have revealed that they have rejected two enquiries for left winger Simon Hackney. Paul Lambert originally approached the Cumbrian club with an offer to take the wide man on a season long loan, and when that enquiry was rejected came back with a figure figure bid, which was also rebuffed. Hackney was a regular in the Carlisle side during the 2007/2008 season, and also a regular in the side this season until John Ward lost his job.
