Colchester United have completed the loan signing of Wolves wide man Lewis Gobern.

Gobern has been training with the U's for the past couple of weeks and impressed enough for Lambert to bring the player to the club.

The pacy winger has had his fair share of injury problems in the past, with two seperate hamstring injuries keeping him out of the second half of the 2006/2007 season, while a knee injury suffered in training kept him out of the entire 2007/2008 season.

It is thought the initial deal is for a one month period.
