Johnnie Jackson was one of a number of players missing as the club had their annual team photo taken today.

Also absent from the photocall were Matt Lockwood, Medy Elito, Jamie Guy, Phil Ifil, Matt Heath and  John White - the latter pair being on loan at Southend United, while Jamie Guy looks likely to sign for Port Vale on loan tomorrow.

Jackson handed in a transfer request following the U's friendly against Aston Villa after he was told by Paul Lambert that he couldn't guarantee him a place in his favoured central midfield position.

Since then, Jackson has played no part in the U's first team pre-season fixtures.

To date, the club have received no bids for Jackson.
