Lockwood Called Up For MK Trip Saturday, 22nd Aug 2009 10:30 Matt Lockwood has been named in the U's squad to travel to Milton Keynes today. Caretaker boss Joe Dunne has named a 20-man squad and Lockwood is the first of Paul Lambert's misfits to be given a second chance after being told they had no future at the club.
The squad is as follows, with two players to miss out on the final cut: Williams, Cousins, Maybury, Beevers, Okuonghae, Baldwin, Vincent, Izzet, Hackney, Fox, Holt, Perkins, Thomas, Lisbie, Wordsworth, Tierney, Lockwood, Vernon, Corcoran, Malton.
Former MK Dons player Clive Platt misses the game through suspension, serving the last of his 3-match ban, while Steven Gillespie (hamstring), Paul Reid (knee) and Jamie Guy (knee) are all out with long term injuries.
