Linchpin defender Gareth McAuley says he is yet to begin talks regarding a new contract with the Blues. The Northern Irishman is one of 21 Town players whose current terms are up at the end of the season.

The 30-year-old says it’s not something he’s panicking about: "There's nothing at the minute, it's not a big issue or a big deal. It's not something that's at the forefront of my mind or anything. I'm not panicking or worrying about it, it's business as usual.”

Speaking in an interview with BBC Suffolk, the former Lincoln and Leicester man says he’s happy at the club and might well put pen to paper if a new deal were to be offered: “There's nothing happening so I can't really comment. But I do enjoy being at the club, playing here and things are good off the field as well. I've just got to keep playing and those things look after themselves."
