Like Branson and Ashley for example.

It'd be great if I could get a government bail out but then again, I'm not a billionaire.

A HERO priest in Italy died from coronavirus after he gave a respirator to a young patient he didn’t know.

Father Giuseppe Berardelli, 72, died in a hospital in Lovere, Bergamo on Monday night after contracting COVID-19.

At least 60 priests have died from the killer bug in Italy, with the country reporting the highest death count and infection rate outside of mainland China.

Bergamo, in the Lombardy region, is one of the worst affected areas in Italy, accounting for over half of all COVID-19 related deaths in the country.

According to the Lovere Hospital, Father Berardelli refused to use a respirator his parishioners had bought for him.

The selfless priest instead chose to give it to a younger patient who was fighting for life.

Tributes poured in on social media, with one from Priest James Martin reading: "He is a 'Martyr of Charity,' a saint like St. Maximilian Kolbe, who in Auschwitz volunteered to take the place of a condemned man with a family, and was killed.

"Don Giuseppe Berardelli, patron of those who suffer from coronavirus and all who care for them, pray for us!"

Residents of Casnigo were reported to have applauded from their windows and balconies as the coffin was taken for burial.

Another tribute read: "He really is a saint. "Santo subito."

Due to local services being stretched to capacity, with the Guardian recently reporting that burials were taking place every half hour in Bergamo, there was sadly no funeral for Father Berardelli.

On Tuesday, Pope Francis led a prayer for the deceased doctors and priests in Italy.

The Pontiff led worshipper in "thanking God for their heroic example in serving those who were sick".

Italian dioceses which have lost priests to coronavirus include Parma, Cremona, Milan, Lodi, Brescia, Casale Monferrato, Tortona, Trento, Bolzano, Salerno, Ariano Irpino, Nuoro, and Pesaro.

Italy, which has seen 6,077 deaths, has been under strict lockdown as it tries to stop the spread of infection.

A taxi driver in Lancaster has dropped leaflets through doors offering to take `key workers` to work for free. He has suggested that any monies should be paid to a homeless charity as discretionary.

He is collecting young spud`s girlfriend at 5.30am tomorrow, and for the next two weeks, to take her to work in Morecambe.

He has said he wishes to `do his bit` for those working in the NHS and the like.

We are going to insist on paying him.
