Agree. There should be some punishment if a club submits a frivolous appeal that presents the same argument and evidence already considered at the main hearing. This would deter clubs from appealing just for the sake of it. |

It's a non-question because one of your options, "exciting", doesn't apply to this season in any way, shape or form. As a result, we're left with just the one option; frustrating. Had you asked, for example, 'frustrating or encouraging', I could see the sense in playing along, because despite this season being a chore, Marti's work brings some hope. However, suggesting that this season has been anywhere near exciting is just plain daft, and calling people numpties for rightly pointing this out is, frankly, embarrassing. Is that far enough off the fence for you? |

Sorry, but I have to agree that it is a silly question. Given that the team has won only 10 of 38 matches to date, scoring a paltry 36 goals in the process, there's been little in the way of excitement. We may be in for a nail-biting finish but overall the season has been painful. Like many, I'm just praying that we get over the line asap so that we can put it behind us and look forward to next season with renewed optimism. |

Last time I went on a night out in Newcastle, it was a brisk October Friday. I was heading for the tiles when a stretch limo pulled out in front of me. Out popped 3 ladies in high heels and mini skirts. It was only when I walked past that I realised it was Nan, Mum and granddaughter. [Post edited 16 Mar 17:55]

51 to stay up is also what I originally went for. Not so sure now but, whatever it turns out to be, it would be nice to get there asap so we're not relying on beating Leeds and Coventry to survive. |

No offence intended. I dug out the original as it will be interesting to see how folk feel in light of their original predictions. |

M'eh. As you were. Two ways of looking at it depending on whether you're a glass half full or glass half empty kind of person. On the one hand, a turgid performance and a missed opportunity to put some daylight between us and the bottom 3. Puts added pressure on the upcoming 6 pointers against Birmingham, Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday. On the other hand, a point away from home at a difficult venue, most of the other results going our way, and still above the dotted line with games running out. So, all in all, I'm sticking with m'eh. [Post edited 16 Mar 18:00]

"The purchase is expected to be funded in part or whole by Mikheil Lomtadze, a former private equity investor from Georgia who generated revenues of $2.9 billion in 2022 and was confirmed by chairman Rob Couhig last month to be entering into a new partnership with the club." Price of a pint is a shilling too willing for my liking but a little gem nonetheless. |

Plus my personal favourite, The Old Ship. The stretch of river from there to Hammersmith Bridge. Now that's a pub crawl and a half. |

The North Star is no longer rough however be aware that it hosts live music after 9pm. The Haven Arms and The Wheatsheaf on Haven Lane are good shouts. They're within spitting distance of each other so if your wife doesn't like one, you can try the other. Another vote for The Drayton Court in West Ealing, opposite the station. Real Ale, disabled access and a big beer garden if you get lucky with the weather. |
