Why are we giving our only (partially) fit striker the go ahead to play for Scotland when he’s currently got a foot problem? I know he’s supposedly fit for Sat but surely we are street wise enough to give him recovery time in the international break. |

I must admit I,m still confused as to HJ role in the club. Am I right in thinking he is a self appointed Director of football? I thought that In general, directors of football are not shareholders in the club, or hold a nominal stake. Isn’t there a conflict of interest if the DOF is also a shareholder and the a Chairman?
Other clubs would surely sack a DOF that is under performing. With the early signs that Sako and Yiadom are our targets and our finances are shot It’s not looking too promising on the transfer front. Maybe as Chairman HJ should sack his DOF instead of blaming a succession of managers. |

I know he messed up but it was great to see someone actually running at the back four and not passing back or sideways. Something that Jack Wiltshire could bring to the side. Worth a loan bid in Jan. Anyone else out there? |

So in his post match interview the man in charge reckons he'll be making changes in the line up for Man U and Arsenal. .... Paul the cupboard is bare lad! Apart from Mesa and an injured,unfit Bony there's nothing! Man we didn't even have a striker on the bench today. Anyone care to guess what changes are going to turn this around? Maybe time to gamble with the potential of Dan James or George Byers. |
