Former Dale striker Jack Redshaw is back in the Football League after signing an 18 month contract with Morecambe FC.
The young striker's move to Spotland didn't work out. He arrived at Spotland having been released by Manchester City, and he'd been highly recommended to the club as we prepared for League One.
However, he was possibly the victim of a change of tactics at the club and as such he was restricted to just three appearances for the club and was soon released from the club in a move which suited both parties.
Following leaving Dale, he has had spells with Salford City and Altrincham FC, before signing for Morecambe after a successful trial period.
