Town coach Sean McCarthy was at Charlton’s 3-0 victory over Yeovil at the Valley last night as the Blues’ management team cast their eyes over potential summer signings. As reported yesterday, manager Paul Jewell took in Huddersfield’s 2-0 away win at Chesterfield’s B2Net Stadium.
League One leaders Charlton’s squad is full of players with Championship experience, such as striker Bradley Wright-Phillips and loanee from Millwall Dany N’Guessan, a player the Blues were linked with during his time at Lincoln.
Yeovil’s squad is less familiar, aside from ex-Blues Gavin Williams and Ed Upson, although striker or winger Andy Williams has notably scored 15 goals this season.
