In possibly the shortest loan deal in the history of football, Tom Heaton has extended his loan deal at the club by just one day.
The deal itself sees Tom Heaton extend his stay at Spotland until the end of the month, but with just one game remaining in January, the loan deal is basically extended until around 9-35pm on Tuesday evening.
There is plans afoot to extend the loan until the end of the season, but whilst talks continue in relation to this, the loan is extended in the short term to allow Heaton to feature in tonight's game against Port Vale.
Kenny Arthur is returning to fitness. He has been on the bench for the last two games, and played ninety minutes for the reserves last week against Carlisle.
