Gary Simpson has added another player to the Silkmen squad with the signing of Sam Wedgbury.
The 21 year old was released by the Blades at the end of last season and Simpson was quick to snap him up.
Wedgbury started his career at Worcester City before signing for Sheffield United in 2006. He made two loan moves whilst at Bramhall Lane - Mansfield Town and Hungarian club Ferencváros.
