£4m for Snodgrass - Pie-eaters are having a laff?
£4m for Snodgrass - Pie-eaters are having a laff?

According to reports from the wrong side of the Pennines, Robert Snodgrass will be plying his trade amongst the cobbled streets in the land of Uncle Joes Mintballs for just £4m.

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has identified 23-year-old Snodgrass as an addition to his squad and Leeds are set to be tested with a £4m bid.

Rumours have it that we have already knocked back £5m from Norwich and told them to come back with £8m, so it seems this story is about as meaty as a veggie hot-pot.

We await Snodder's response on Twitter.....oh no we won't because the club have BANNED social networking by players following the leak about Davide Somma's serious training ground injury.

Meanwhile Max Gradel's agent has reportedly told Leeds to stump up £25,000 a week to keep his client at ER, West Ham and Fulham are reportedly targeting the ex-Leicester man who is in the final year of his present deal.

And reports in the Midlands are tipping Leeds to bid £1m for Coventry City midfielder Sammy Clingan.

Wigan are a bunch of egg chasers, although I do confess to liking Martinez.

But £4m ? You're having a laugh.

If Downing is worth £20m, Snodgrass must be worth at least £10m.
