Saints need St Mary's filled for the visit of Leicester City.

With only two home games in a six week period between the Bristol City match on December 30th and the visit of Burnley on the 11th February, no one can complain that they cant afford to go because there have been too many matches, so hopefully it will be  virtually full house for our first home game in almost four weeks.

With Saints having been knocked off the top and needing three points to put them back into pole position, this is going to be a night when Saints will need all the support they can get, its easy to turn up for the big games orthe final home game of the season, but a lot harder on a cold January evening, but its these nights when promotions are won or lost and certainly what Saints need to do now is put in a nice run of wins to pull themm away from the pack again.

So if you havent got your ticket yet, get down to St mary's on Mondauy night and do your bit for our promotion hopes.

I cant be there in person (being an expat and working oversees currently), but will be tuning into Saints player to listen to the game. These are the big games I really miss attending - nothing can beat being at a near-full St Marys on a cold night!

Getting paid two weeks early because of Christmas, the effect of a five week month and birthday beers last weekend, not to mention the bankers and parlimentarians robbing us blind...........I'm skint mate!!! I imagine there are a lot of people in the same boat. Lucky I have a season ticket, otherwise I would be confined to barracks......... COYR

To expect a near full house for a monday night game on SKY is inrealistic

As many have said many are still paying for their Christmasands many who get paid monthly don't get paid until the end of the week

I would think a crowd of 22 - 23,000 would be good on monday, but we should be aiming at a crowd of 25 - 27,000 for the Cardiff game next tuesday

I can't see there being more than 23,000 there tomorrow night. I've got a ticket for Cardiff instead, where I'd expect there to be at least 25,000, not least as Cardiff will probably bring 2,500 compared to Leicester's 1,000 (at most).

as much as it helps, a full or near full house does not guarantee a good result, bristol city for example. and stop telling people what they can or cant afford mate...people go when they want to or can afford to...end of !

On many occasions when i comment on the way Saints are being run, im often told by many on here what a great man cortese is and how he does not accept anything other than those that share his vision and are driven to help him achieve it, however whenever i suggest that perhaps people should come along in numbers to support that vision, Im shouted down by those who tell me im unrealisitc to ask for a big crowd to watch a team who are bidding to return to the top of the league and indeed achieve promotion.

Why is it bad to try and encourage supporters to go to the game, surely we should all do the same and encourage our friends to go more regularly, as Nicola always says, if you reach for the moon you might get the stars

We've been here countless times before. Do we really have to go over it again? Full houses are lovely, but until we / if we get back to the Premier League, it's going to be very rare for a capacity crowd @ SMS. I don't like to see empty seats either, I'm there for every home game. But that's just the way it is unfortunately but you just can't seem to get over it.

Sadly, SaintDavo's point about the Bristol City game is very valid. I brought four floating fans along with me for that game, which was an ideal opportunity to get fans in for future games. However, Saints were totally hapless, and wouldn't have scored if the game had gone on for 6 hours. People aren't as willing to part with £27 for games that aren't in the Prem as they may have been in years gone by.
