As always, we take an indepth look at Saturday's referee as we build up the trip to Cheltenham.

Referee: Graham Horwood (Bedfordshire)

Saturday’s referee is in his third season on the referees’ list, but this is our first meeting with him since November 2007.

On that occasion Bedfordshire referee was the man in the middle for our FA Cup tie at Southend, which came just three months after he had taken charge of a league game at Hereford.

Dale salvaged a 1-1 draw in that match, but the afternoon was soured when David Perkins received the first of his three red cards that season.

We of course lost 2-1 in the cup tie at Roots Hall, so we are definitely due a change of fortune with Mr Horwood.

So far this season, Graham has refereed 18 matches, showing 55 yellow cards and two red.

Most of his matches have been in League One, but Mr Horwood has refereed five Championship matches, including Peterborough v WBA and Coventry v Middlesbrough.
