Andy Hillman and our professional odds compiler return with tips for this weekend's FA Cup action, and a midweek round of Premier League fixtures.

Just the one banker win for Andy last week at 3/4. perhaps the most surprising failure from his three other bets was Lyon not winning to nil, or indeed at all, against Evian in Ligue 1. Evian had lost four of five going into the match and were in the relegation zone before five of their first team players went to the African Cup of Nations. Lyon meanwhile had won six of the previous eight and were at home. Nevertheless, it finished 0-0 and that, along with Barcelona 's shock defeat, will have busted a few coupons across the continent last weekend – including Mr Hillman's.

Andy Hillman

Bit of a poor week after two good weeks, with only my 3/4 NAP double coming in. We're back to the FA Cup this week, and although that brought unexpected success two weeks ago looking down the list I'm properly struggling to find anything that might appeal to be honest...

NAP of the Week: Stoke vs Man City - Man City to win @ 4/5

In 2013, in three Premier League games, Stoke have scored one goal, and conceded ten. They’re not the defensive unit they were earlier in the season. Man City at nearly evens is too good to pass up.

QPR related bet - QPR vs MK Dons - QPR to win to nil @ 7/4

QPR in the fifth round? Be still my beating heart. QPR should progress here, and it will hopefully be a drama-free experience for all of us. The downside is of course that all the free weekends I'd planned for the fourth round and beyond are now taken up...

For the notebook – Tuesday multiples, Stoke vs Wigan, Sunderland vs Swansea & Villa vs Newcastle all draws - doubles @ 20/1 & Treble @ 40/1

There are four games in the Premier League on Tuesday, our game vs Man City , and the three above. I can see all four games having draw potential, but there’s no chance of me including the Man City game in any sort of accumulator.

The Pro

"A QPR team in the midst of a mini revival host MK Dons in a fourth round tie. An excellent second half performance at The Hawthorns sparked some mumblings on the terrace about a possible extended cup run but they will come up against a stubborn Milton Keynes side, just as they did last year. Rangers were very lucky to get through last season and with their minds on other matters, I think it's going to be a tough match this week too.

"From a betting point of view, I don't like taking a view on cup matches until I see the team sheets - especially here with a weakened side expected to be named by Harry - but there is a price on this game that seems worth investing your money on. The current price on the Asian handicap market for MK Dons plus 0.75 at around evens at Bet365 and Paddy Power looks worth playing. To simplify this, if it's a draw or MK Dons win, your bet wins. If QPR win by a one goal margin you get half your stake refunded. The only way you lose your entire stake is if Rangers win by a two or more goal margin. I think it will be tight and tense which is how cup matches should be. Enjoy the match."

Winners so far:

Norwich v QPR, 11/10 Under 2.5 goals 24/08/12

West Brom v QPR, more than 2.5 goals, 4/5, 05/10/12

James Morrison to score anytime v QPR, 5/1, 05/10/12

QPR and Everton to draw 13/5, 18/10/12
