Design A New Site Logo And Win Signed Shirts

JackArmy.net has been up and running for five years now - since it was first taken under the hub of the Rivals network by Keiron McDonnell who transferred his 'Army Of Jack' web site into the biggest unofficial football network in the world.

Since those early days, the design, layout and, more importantly, the popularity of the site has grown. Over the course of the summer months, we have been told that the whole Rivals network will undergo a redesign process so with it we are planning changes to the look of JackArmy.net as well.

As we are all aware, the Swans will be moving into a new stadium as well as a new division next season so we feel that the current logo of the site has become a little outdated.

The background to the logo shows (faintly) an aerial view of the Vetch together with the pictures of some Swans fans at Rotherham when we won the title in 2000. Both great memories but now it is time to change the look of the site logo and bring it into date with the Swans current positions.

So we are asking you, the readers of JackArmy.net, to come up with a new site logo and the winner of the new logo will receive a signed shirt for the Swans which was signed by the side from 2001/2 together with a Tottenham Hotspur shirt signed by Welsh international Simon Davies and several others from their squad of the same era (2001/2)

There are a few rules that all you budding designers need to follow when making your designs

The logo must be 305 x 71 pixels in design

It must contain the site name "JackArmy.net"

It must contain "Powered By Rivals.net" somewhere in the logo

Other than that the world really is your oyster (!) From all the entries received we will narrow the choice down to around 6-10 and then open those designs up for voting on by all site readers with the most popular naturally being the winner of the two shirts.

JackArmy.net is currently visited by close on 3,000 unique visitors a day and has an average of over 78,000 page views per day and on each and every one of those the site logo is displayed for all to see so whichever design wins will get wide exposure on one of the network's busiest sites and indeed one of the busiest unofficial football sites anywhere.

You can use any of the pictures on this site within your design if you choose - all we ask is if that you use pictures from elsewhere then you ensure that you have permission of the copyright holder or you own the copyright yourself.

Closing date for entries will be Monday 6th June 2005 and we will open the voting for the top entries soon after that.

Your entries should be e-mailed to us here

To help start you off we have included a few logos of our own that we have put together but feel free to make your own decisions as to what you would like to see at the top of the page
