Director Demands Apology From Evening Post

Director 'Mis-quoted' By Evening Post

Swansea City director David Morgan will tomorrow see an apology issued in the Evening Post for mis-quotation of his words in tonight's issue.

Tonight's paper carries a front page story about ticketing problems at White Rock in which David Morgan is quoted as saying "There was a problem with the phone line a couple of weeks ago but that has been sorted out. "Season tickets have been sent out, and anyone experiencing problems has only to visit the shop or give them a call. "We have taken out full-page newspaper adverts advising people of contact numbers. "We value all our supporters and we want them to join us for the new season. "We can help them but they have to contact us."

However, David has hit back at the comments and said that he answered specific questions based to him and the answers have now been printed as answers to different questions.

He says that the reporter asked him why would people have not had invites for the new season and this was the comment made about the full page adverts in the Evening Post stating when they can visit the stadium.

He also says that people who had received incorrect tickets should rake them into the ticket office and they will sort it out for them. He says he did not ask fans to contact the club shop as it is not yet open and as such no number has been advertised for the shop.

The apology will appear in tomorrow's edition of the Evening Post.

He also added that anyone who has ordered tickets to be posted out should receive their tickets tomorrow with the last batch being sent out first class post from the stadium today.
