Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has revelled that he fancies the Swans to cause another cup upset against Fulham.

In a less than convincing display by the premiership outfit against Kettering Town in the fourth round Swansea will be confident of causing another cup upset after dispatching holders Portsmouth out of the cup yesterday. Fulham will certainly be wary of the threat posed by the in form side in the championship.

The last time Swansea played the Craven Cottage side at home it was to mark the first game at the then new £27 million Liberty Stadium. Since then the Swans have won promotion to the championship whilst the London club have had two more managers and flirted with relegation to the second tier of the football league pyramid.

Despite facing another premiership side diminutive midfielder Leon Britton has admitted that there is nothing to fear from a side 10th in the premier league as he told Sky Sports News, he said “ Im happy with that (the draw) we would have liked a home draw which we have obviously got against a premiership team in Fulham. Its a tough draw but being at home and the way we have been playing at the moment we fancy our chances against anyone.”

He added “Its always nice to get a home draw in recent times we have been away a lot in the FA Cup so we have got that home tie that we wanted against a premiership team and its another chance to test ourselves and try to prove we can compete at that level. “

The tie will be played on the weekend of the 14th and 15th February.
