Swans In Link With Cliftonville Striker Tuesday, 23rd Feb 2010 08:01 Swansea City have been linked with a move for Cliftonville striker Liam Boyce The Belfast Telegraph have made the link claiming that Swansea City are interested in the player who has scored 14 goals so far this season. The paper also states that the Swans are not alone with Leicester City, Morton, Huddersfield Town and Bolton Wanderers also interested in a player who has yet to turn 19 years of age. But his manager at Cliftonville, Eddie Patterson says any move for Boyce would not be a gamble Liam Boyce will be a star,” he told the paper “He has great vision, pace, skill and a scoring touch. Signing him would not be a gamble for any club. With full-time training he would get physically stronger and and although he is technically very good already, that would improve very quickly as well. “He would really benefit from full-time training and if he gets that he can be as good as anyone. “We’re aware that Leicester City are interested and Gerry Taggart has watched a number of our games. “Other clubs have watched him and one has been in touch.” Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
