Paul Tisdale says he is happy at Exeter but did not rule himself out of the Swansea running

Tisdale was installed as the early favourite for the Swansea City job vacated on Sunday evening by Paulo Sousa.

And whilst he insisted that he was happy at Exeter - he refused to rule out a move to Swansea simply saying that there had been no contact as yet.

He told the Evening Post "I only found out this morning that Paulo Sousa has moved. I am very happy where I am, I was happy last year and I am happy this year

"It is conjecture. It is not absolutely relevant because it has not been put to me or the club.

"There has been no contact at all. If it is going to happen, I am not scared of people being interested in me and not scared of doing what is right as well.

"I am happy. One day I will move on when it is right, but I am not looking to move."

Swans Chairman Huw Jenkins also refused to move out a rule for Tisdale - who was linked with the job before the end of the season when speculation first broke that Paulo may move on

"We considered him  last time, he's another year on from that and he's worked at Exeter to keep them in that division," Jenkins told thje same publication

"But we've moved on over the past 12 months so we'll have to see what other thoughts we have.

"We're looking for a good manager first and foremost, somebody we can all work with, somebody who's committed and fully understands what levels we're at and can accept that. There are numerous candidates, some in jobs, some that have been out of work a while and some working as assistants elsewhere — there are a lot of options.

"We'll make sure we look through that and make sure we make the right appointment."
