Its being reported that Liverpool are keen on Man City midfielder James Milner.

Milner who has been on International duty with England over the summer has been offered a new four year deal with Man City but has not made a decision as to whether he will sign or not, this has alerted Liverpool and its being reported that they are preparing a bid.

Milner made 45 appearances for City last season and scored in City's 3-2 Champions League win over Bayern Munich and the 4-2 away win over Fulham.

Pellegrini would prefer the 28-year-old to stay with the club, but there has been reports in the press that Milner whats more first team football.
