Ki Sung-Yeung is your man of the match from the Swans weekend clash with Southampton at the Liberty after a strong performance from him in the centre of midfield.

Ki has been like a new signing for the Swans this season and has put in some excellent performances this time around most notably at the weekend where he was in charge of much of the midfield action as the Swans tried a rear guard action forced upon them by the sending off of Wilfried Bony in the first half.

Ki ended the game with a rating of 7.4 from the Swans fans ahead of Lucasz Fabianski who rated 7.1 and Ashley Williams at 6.8 giving him his man of the match award and a deserved one on a tough afternoon for the Swans.

At the opposite end of the scale there was a rating of just 4.1 for the red carded Bony, 4.9 for late substitute Marvin Emnes (or was that Gomis or Hernandez?) and 5.2 for Swans left back Neil Taylor.

Overall the highest rating in the game was 7.9 given to Victor Wanyama whilst the referee was given a rating of just 4.3 and the match overall 5.6.
