Forest Green Travel Guide Monday, 20th Jul 2009 23:18 Tuesday night gives the players a chance to get back on track after Sunday's defeat, and the QPR fans another opportunity to tick off a new ground, as the R's face Forest Green. br> By Car: Forest Green is actually the area of the town the football ground is located in, rather than the name of the town itself, so sat-nav fans are unlikely to find Forest Green on there, and if they do they’re unlikely to end up at this match. The club is based in Nailsworth in the Cotswolds which means the M4 out of West London towards Swindon. Leave the M4 at junction 15 and take the A419 for 30 miles past Swindon and through Cirencester to Stroud. Once in Stroud take the A46 down towards Bath and the first town you find on that road is Nailsworth. In the town take a right at the mini roundabout next to the information centre and climb the steep hill towards Forest Green which is at the top. My Burton Albion supporting mate says you will, at several points, refuse to believe there can possibly be a football club along this road but persevere. This is about 107 miles give or take from Loftus Road and will take just shy of two and a half hours at the speed limit. Map: Parking: There is a large car park at the ground for 250 vehicles at £3 a time. .
