Jamie Clapham leaves Leeds, but clearly he fancies a return to help the whites' seal promotion in the New Year.

Jamie Clapham has today returned to Wolves after his loan-period was up.

The experienced left-back has been cemented in the heart of the United team that managed to claw back fifteen points and currently lie in fourth - just two points off the top of the table. He arrived as a replacement for Derby bound Eddie Lewis.

And it has been something of an eye-opener for the seasoned campaigner, who has been tipped to make a return to Elland Road in the New Year.

Jamie told lufc.com "All the lads believe in themselves - they just keep thinking about the 15 points deduction and it spurs them on.

"There's something unique about the atmosphere - they have to keep pushing on,

"I've enjoyed playing regular football but I don't know what's going to happen now.

"I'll go back to Wolves, nothing else can be done here until January anyway, and if it doesn't happen I wish the club and the supporters all the very best for the future."

Dennis Wise will have to decide between now and January 1st whether or not to try and get Clapham back to Yorkshire, one assumes much will depend on Wise's faith in the abilities of youngster Ben Parker who is expected to step-up in Clapham's absence.
