Macclesfield Town manager Gary Simpson told the MOS that he was very happy with the 7-1 win at Leek Town yesterday which saw Emile Sinclair hit a first half hat-trick.

Simpson knows it wont be this easy when the league starts and hopes his lads can carry on this impressive and confident form.

"The squad are in very good spirits at the moment." said Simpson.  They've been working hard and training hard, had a good trip to Ireland which wasn't a jolly by any means, we worked hard, but it was good for bonding and we've got an excellent team spirit."
