New signings Márton Fülöp and Mark Kennedy were unveiled at a Portman Road press conference this afternoon. Fülöp completed his £750,000 switch from Sunderland this morning, while Kennedy joined for £75,000 from Cardiff just over a week ago, both players signing two-year deals.
Fülöp told the club site that he is targeting a return to the Premier League: "The manager told me his plans here and I was really impressed with what he said about the club.
"I have come down from a Premier League club but my target is to get back playing at that level and that why I have joined a team like Ipswich. "Hopefully we can have a good season and at the end of it, be at the top of the table. That is my target and the target for everyone here. "I have been here for a day or two and have been really impressed with the training ground and everything about the club. It's a great set-up and I'm really looking forward to my time here."
