The feeling around me at HT was very positive. We felt we should be further ahead as we had had good chances but were all a bit shocked about how poor Wrexham had been. I am not sure what your sense of foreboding was based on - maybe their zero attempts on goal?
We should have been at least two up at HT in my opinion. Second half Wrexham were much better and I was surprised when we got ourselves ahead. The loss was purely down to that brainless sending off for me. A draw would have been a fair result. |

I actually love that we gave them a taste of their own medicine to be honest.
Over the years we have been bullied by big physical teams like Stoke, Millwall and last year Portsmouth.
How many of us genuinely expected to get a point away to Stoke on Saturday given our injuries and their current form. I certainly didn't.
Sometimes, you just need to grind a result out and keep a clean sheet. |

I love it but must admit I could not believe you get this at 60 when most of us are still working.
I believe loads use it and it is a real boost for the London economy. However, it probably should come into play in line with the state retirement age.
But not for another few years please! |

Good OP.
I agree, thought he really stepped up and led by example. A hell of a lot of character shown yesterday and JS was rightfully proud. I think it unlikely we will challenge the right end of the table this year but it does feel like he's building a good attitude in this team. Injuries in the last few days/weeks is the main reason I feel we won't challenge. |

I think this is probably the nail on the head.
I'm in R Block and was surprised to hear that chant early on. Very surprised. Most of us looked at each other and eye rolled without joining in. However, there will be a group of people who just see him as Beale 2.0 - someone who has not stayed and finished the job here, but gone on to a bigger club. Someone who was backed by the crowd in difficult times. The last Christmas song captures that well. |
