Thread | Anyone watching the Hamburg derby?

On the BBC now. About as exciting as our recent performances. Both teams at the wrong end of the table and it shows. A Croatian kid on loan from Spurs in Hamburg’s defence by far the outstanding player. And the famous atmosphere is just repetitive drumming and smoke. |

Mrs Sheen has been watching Steal on Amazon Prime. Sophie Turner is a frustrated back office worker in a fund management company, who gets caught up in a robbery of some dirty client money. It’s well made but my professional opinion…utter bollox!! |

Just watched the first episode of Nero. It’s a bit corny and the effects aren’t the best, but it’s entertaining and fun, even the kick-ass girl boss silliness helps with the suspension of disbelief. Nice to see Josephine Karlsson’s sleazy legal partner from Spiral as his backstabbing boss. |

On the subject of fruity reds, we had a big shop from the Wine Society and their Society Douro Red 2023 was a big favourite, deliciously fruity, £9.99 very well spent. |

Anyone else staying up for the CFB final? Old school hard case faded nobility v the boys from nowhere, so Everton Wrexham, but with brilliant coaching at Illinois rather than money. Maybe Olly’s magic one-off Blackpool instead. I hope they win. |

I see England Under 19s are making a good start to their World Cup, thanks in part to their left arm spinning all-rounder, Ralphie Albert, the grandson of Jimmy White. I did not see that one coming.
