I don't mind the passing it across the back bit..i know its frustrating but even the top sides do it.
Its a patience game waiting for the right moment to hit it forward or for the midfield to come and collect it.
A couple of times last night the long ball went hay wire.
EEL has become a terrific distributor of the ball ...certainly surpassed all expectations i had of him when the season started. |

What did suprise me in the games against Solihull and last night is that the opposition didnt start with a more attacking approach..seemed over cautious,,Hartlepool went fr us from the kick off and they were worthy winners.
The last minute goals in both games turned 2 points into six..be interesting to see our next few opponents FGR Boreham approach from the start. |

It’s an interesting set of games coming up…I can see us drawing and conceding more goals..my feeling is that going into the games we need to be confident that if the opposition score 2 we have the firepower to score 3 rather than playing over cautiously..in an odd sort of way the opposition have got nothing to lose so will play on the front foot and not sit back |

Radio Cornwall commentating that the pitch is cutting up,a little during the warm up..ground staff attending to the divots…their last way win was April last year |

Even the footy at the highest level is a pretty dire watch generally.
More side to side than end to end.
Results are king and how you get them is secondary to entertainment for the spectator.
Even the refs are boring..oh for a Roger Kirkpatrick …Jack Taylor..from the 1970s
The pundits..don’t get me started…Neville…Sutton..Savage..awful individuals offering nothing but sound bites and wind ups.
The commentators..dull dull dull…Hugh Johns..Brian Moore..Peter Jones must be spinning in their graves.
The game has become completely sanitised on and off the pitch with the likes of VAR |

Did anyone else hear that odd conversation going on in the background around half time on the DAZN coverage?
Random woman’s voice rambling on to say there should only be 3 people on the commentary gantry and the poor commentator having to explain he needs to be there because he is doing the commentary..and some other bloke apologising to this random lady?…bizarre |

That’s another 12 completed.
I think we got 28 from the previous 36…so more than I expected by 7.
The next 12 look a proper challenge with plenty of top 8 teams to play..so I will guess at 26 from 36..
