Northern Irish U19 international midfielder Cormac Burke has confirmed that he has signed his one-year professional deal with the club. The 17-year-old joined the academy full-time last summer.

The Derry-born player revealed the news in a tweet: “Just signed my professional contract , feels good.”

Burke and US U20 keeper Cody Cropper will both be pros this season while they finish their scholarships as they are a year older than other second years. Cropper is understood to have already agreed his one-year deal.
