Bullard Suspended By Hull - Reports
Bullard Suspended By Hull - Reports

Former Town loanee Jimmy Bullard has been suspended for two weeks by Hull City, according to reports in East Yorkshire. The midfielder was left out of the Tigers side which won 2-1 at Winterton Rangers this evening.

After the game, amid rumours that last season’s Town Player of the Year had been suspended for a fortnight, manager Nigel Pearson said only: "I've got no comment to make."

Hull are yet to confirm or deny the suspension with the local East Yorkshire press claiming the move relates to an incident on the club's pre-season trip to Slovenia.

When asked about the £45,000-a-week midfielder’s future earlier in the day, Pearson said merely: “There's nothing to add at this point. This conversation is going nowhere so we'll leave it at that."

The one-time England call-up, who has two years left on his contract which makes up 21% of Hull's wage bill, has been linked with a switch to QPR in recent weeks, while the Blues may well be monitoring his situation despite manager Paul Jewell previously ruling them out due to the financial aspects of the move.
