Liverpool AwaydazeOur visit to Liverpool will kick off at 5.30 on New Year’s day, thanks to live coverage by our friends at Sky TV.
Farke accepts Leeds have more to do after draw at SunderlandLeeds can be delighted with the second half performance at Sunderland, which should really have earned us all three points, but Daniel Farke knows we will have to keep this run going before we can start to think about being safe from relegation.
Sunderland AwaydazeOur game at Sunderland kicks off on Sunday at 2pm, thanks to yet another Sky Sports selection. You'll find the Stadium of Light on the site of the former Monkwearmouth Colliery on the north bank of the River Wear, the opposite side from the city centre.

Disappointingly brief FA Cup Draw sends Leeds to DerbyLeeds are going to Derby County in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, after TNT sport and the FA were shown to be lagging way behind FIFA when it comes to staging a pompus, shamlessly self-promoting and needlessly drawn out draw for a major competition.
Rumours of Farke’s demise have been greatly exaggeratedWith the internet awash with rumours that our manager was toast if he lost the next two games, he needed a result against Chelsea. He stuck with his new formation and was rewarded with our best performance of the season, and that vital win.
Spirited fightback in vain as Leeds go down to Man CityAt half time it looked like we were in for the kind of thrashing we’d been dreading, but after a formation change we came right back into the game, and in the end Manchester City had to be relieved to snatch an injury time winner.
Farke tries to be upbeat about daunting trip to Man CityWe all knew this difficult run of fixtures was coming, and so it begins with this afternoon’s away game against Manchester City. We can but hope that our inconsistent hosts have another of the off days they have been suffering this season.
Manchester City AwaydazeAnd so we start our difficult run of fixtures, as we head to the Etihad to face Manchester City. The kick-off is at 3pm on Saturday, and it’s not being televised live, so maybe we really aren’t famous any more.
Nottingham Forest AwaydazeOur visit to Nottingham Forest is at 2pm on Sunday, and is live on Sky Sports, though the match would have been put back anyway due to Forest’s European commitments. The current TV contract allows Sky to broadcast all games that aren’t scheduled for 3pm on Saturdays.
Brighton AwaydazeThis season’s visit to Brighton and Hove Albion has at the unusual kick-off time of 3pm on a Saturday afternoon, with absolutely no interference whatsoever from the TV companies. Clearly we are not famous any more.

Paris 1975 – The final we can’t forgetThe film is billed as “The European Cup Final Football Tried to Forget that football tried to forget”, but in our little corner of West Yorkshire the bitterness lingers on, about the way we were cheated in the biggest game in Leeds United’s history.
Burnley AwaydazeOnce again we visit beautiful Burnley, this time with a 3pm kick off on Saturday, as the game is not being televised live. Maybe we really aren’t famous any more. You’ll find Turf Moor about a mile to the east of Burnley town centre.
Leeds take credit but no points from eventful game with SpursLeeds deserved to take at least a draw from this lively encounter, where the stormy weather was frequently matched by some angry stand-offs on the pitch, but in the end Tottenham Hotspur’s better finishing proved decisive, and they took all three points from a hard-fought game.
A draw that feels like a defeat after late Bournemouth goalJust when it looked as though Leeds were going to take all three points for the second game in a row, we conceded a last minute goal allowed AFC Bournemouth to take a point. It was an eventful game that was a bit unlucky to be last on Match of the Day.
