Lillis back at Scunny
Dale on loan keeper Josh Lillis has been recalled by Scunthorpe bringing to an end his second spell at Spotland.
On the day that Dale have drafted in another keeper, Scunthorpe have decided to exercise a clause in the loan deal to bring Lillis back to Glanford Park, just two weeks after agreeing to extend his loan move.
The reasons behind the recall are not yet known, but there had been rumours of a move to a bigger club for Scunny's first choice keeper Joe Murphy in recent weeks which could heighten the Iron's need for Lillis, although with nine goals conceded in their past two games, it might just be time for a change at the back.
Lillis leaves Spotland having played twenty eight games for the club in total.
