Wigan, Wolves and West Brom Linked With Leadbitter
Wigan are planning a £2 million bid for Town midfielder Grant Leadbitter, according to a tabloid report. Wolves and West Brom are also said to be interested in the former Sunderland man.
Leadbitter, who is contracted to Town until 2012, moved to Portman Road for £2.6 million in August 2009 and the Blues are unlikely to accept a fee so far below the figure they paid for the one-time England U21 international.
On Thursday afternoon, new Blues boss Paul Jewell said he had no immediate plans to sell any of his current squad.
Leadbitter, 24, is available for Saturday’s home game against Doncaster after his three-match ban.
